Tired and Remembering

Today has been a busy day.  I just had to do some cleaning.  With a houseful of pets there is always cleaning.  I don't know how the cat litter gets spread so far about but it does.  I use Arm and Hammer Essentials in the upstairs cat litter box and it really sticks to their feet.  But it smells good.  And the dogs,  well, they're just dogs doing their own things.

I'm watching the TV special about Jacqueline Kennedy in her own words.  It's somewhat interesting.  I remember back in the day when she was first lady I thought she was really wonderful.  I loved her clothes and hair and demeanor.  My mother-in-law was a real Jackie Kennedy fanatic.  She could have been a real stalker.  I remember seeing Jack Kennedy when he was campaigning for president.  I worked downtown on the sixth floor of a building near where he was going to speak.  My boss came out and told me to go ahead and go down there and try to get close enough to see him.  What a wonderful memory to have.  I can still see him in front of Mansfield's old courthouse.  He was very handsome and very, very tan.  I couldn't vote then but I would have voted for him.  I was only 19 and he was very handsome!  Never mind the issues.  Did we have issues back then?

It's a nice memory anyway.
