Ruth and Lane

Today my friend is burying her husband.  He had Parkinson's disease for a very long time.  About 18 years I think.  She has been taking very good care of him for many of those years when he became unable to care for himself.

It was a sad thing to see him lose his talents.  He was a wonderful pianist, organist and hairdresser.  And was very good at many other things.

For the last year or so he has had to be in a nursing home because Ruth couldn't care for him at home any longer.  It's a sad loss for the family, for friends and for our church.

Rest in Peace, Lane.  Your body is whole now and you can play a resounding song in Heaven.
